Shon Repman

Owner/BJJ Instructor

Shon is a Technical Writer by trade and has been studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 8 years.  He currently holds the rank of Brown Belt.  His passions include BJJ, hiking, wrestling, running, and weight training.  Shon has competed in many BJJ competitions and has been wrestling since elementary school and never lost the passion for grappling sports.  His resume includes High School Wrestling coach, CrossFit coach, Runner, and Rucking leader and coach.

2021 – Appalachian Trail thru-hiker (2,000-mile club)
2020 – Orange County NABJJF Los Angeles Tournament – Bronze
2019 – Marine Corps Marathon
2016-2020 Baltimore NewBreed Gi and No Gi Tournaments Gold and Silver.
2015-2023 Co-founder of South-Central PA Rucking Crew. Organizing organizing rucking events and training in the Hanover area.

Mark Peck

Owner/BJJ Instructor

Mark is an Operational Manager for Dining Services at a retirement community. Along with many other hobbies, he found Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu over 7 years ago. Mark officially joined the 3G team as a Blue Belt and has since received his Purple and Brown Belt from the 3G instructors at York BJJ. Being from the Hanover area one of his goals is to help provide a safe environment for people to learn and practice self-defense and sport jiu-jitsu in his hometown.

Richard Keever

Owner/BJJ Instructor

The head of our York SixAM program, Richard works in financial technology by trade. Currently, a brown belt in BJJ and an orange belt in Judo, Richard began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in AZ in 2011. BJJ quickly became much more than a platform to exercise, but also a shared activity with his kids – both of whom still train. Fast forward several years, and relocating to the East Coast, Richard found a home at 3G. Richard has a keen eye for the details, the patience of a saint, and a passion for coaching. As a veteran of the US Marine Corps, you will often find Richard leading veteran’s events at the gym.

Monica Brogan

Owner/BJJ & Dangerous Damsels Instructor

Monica is a paralegal by trade and was drawn to the martial arts seeking a fitness activity that she could share with her husband.  Monica instantly fell in love with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  Monica holds a second degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a first degree black belt in Judo.  Monica has completed the IBJJF BJJ Rules certification. 

Monica is the founder and head instructor of the Dangerous Damsels women’s self defense program, the area’s premier women’s self defense program with locations in York, Harrisburg and Scranton, PA.

An absolute terror on the mat, Monica’s competitive accomplishments include:

David Brogan

Gregg, a 3rd-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is a detective by trade and has co-owned and operated Harrisburg Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo for over a decade.  Gregg is the Harrisburg area’s first black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is a brown belt in Judo.  With a focus on teaching, Gregg has produced numerous champions in gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.   Gregg takes pride in training students for competition, but at the same time, he recognizes that competition is not for everyone.  As such, Gregg is dedicated to helping students achieve whatever their goals may be, whether they be self-defense, fitness, or competition.  In addition to teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Gregg has taught arrest and control tactics to military and law enforcement agents for over a decade.

Tom Fleming

Owner/BJJ Instructor

“Awesome” Tom has been studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 15 years and currently holds the rank of 2nd-degree Black Belt. His passions include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. Tom has competed in many grappling competitions over his career and placed in each. Tom is also very active in the MMA community. He has helped to train and coach fighters within many fight organizations such as Bellator, CFFC, and the World Series of Fighting. Tom and his family currently reside in the York Pa area.
